  • Who can sign up?
    Any medical professionals who are interested in training with our products are more than welcome to sign up. If you are a non-medical personnel, please feel free to contact our admin at croquis@samyang.com with your specific inquiry.
  • How do I sign up?
    Click the sign up button on the top right corner and follow the process. Please make sure to include all required fields with the correct information. Once finished, your account will be approved by our admin. Note that unauthentic information may lead to rejection of the approval.
  • How long does it take to receive the membership approval?
    Approval process by our admin usually takes 1-2 business days depending on where you are located at. If the admin does not approve your account in time, please contact us at croquis@samyang.com.
  • How is my personal information protected?
    Your valuable personal information is managed systematically under European GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation). Samyang will never use your personal information other than membership approval purposes.
  • How do I access the contents?
    You can sign up for membership and access the contents once you receive approval from our admin. The contents are absolutely free for all approved members. There is no paid membership at SMART Academy. However, in-depth contents are provided to members who actually use our products.
  • Can I download the contents?
    Unfortunately, you cannot download the contents. Our terms and conditions prohibit our users from violating copyrights that belong to not only Samyang but also our valuable partners as well. If you require certain data, please contact us at croquis@samyang.com.
  • How do I purchase the products?
    While our products are being sold many places around the world, there may be some areas that our products are not registered. For purchase and further discussions about possible partnership, please contact us at croquis@samyang.com.

How we protect your personal data

Samyang will delete or archive your personal information. Your scanned copy of the medical license will be deleted immediately upon deletion of your account. However, unless directed, your personal data will be kept for the duration of your relationship with us. We will store and retain the personal data we collect about you in accordance with our company's records retention policy. note that some information may be retained for longer if we are required to do so or if local law requires it.

The personal data we collect about you will be deleted upon reaching the retention period and fulfilling the grounds for processing as specified below.

  • Membership information

    - Retention: Until requested to cancel your membership

    - Grounds: Membership management (i.e. members’ user verification, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent/unauthorized use by banned members, and confirmation of membership request)

  • User information (i.e. inquiries collected via private forum entries and customer service calls)

    - Retention: Three years after inquiry

    - Grounds: Recording consumer complaints and handling of disputes

  • Period of use In principle, the personal data we collect about you will be immediately deleted upon fulfilling the purpose of collection and use.
